DAVID M. SCHELL

David M. Schell joined Derfel Estate Law in 2025. He completed his Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Windsor in 2002 and was called to the Ontario Bar and New York State Bar in 2004.

David is a senior litigator at the firm, practicing extensively in criminal and regulatory matters as well as civil proceedings. As a member of the DSF estate litigation team, David is dedicated to representing clients in disputes involving wills, trusts, estates, and guardianship matters. David advises beneficiaries, executors, trustees, and other interested parties on their rights and obligations under Ontario estate law.

He provides strategic legal advice and effective representation in both negotiations and court proceedings.
